In September 2024 I participated to the annual meeting of the International Society for Experimental Hematology (ISEH). There, I was selected to present my work with an oral presentation where I discussed my recent findings with the vibrant hematology community.

Retrospectively, I can only appreciate and recommend this meeting: the smaller scale of the event combined with a programme that encourages networking with established scientists represent a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful scientific discussions without feeling the “hierarchical” pressure of academia.
